Best Ear Health Supplements: What Labels Can Support
The best ear health supplements are hard to name, because a label can show what is inside but not what it does for your ears. Trials of ginkgo and zinc found little or no benefit for tinnitus. Quietum Plus lists 18 ingredients and calls dong quai a "Superior ear tonic", yet no amounts are printed and no trial tested it.

What are the best ear health supplements?
No ear health supplement has proof that it protects or improves the ear. A label can support facts about contents, not claims about your ears.
Ear health marketing leans on a few names. We checked what research says about them, using the sources we can verify.
| Ingredient | What research found | In Quietum Plus? |
|---|---|---|
| Ginkgo | Little or no effect on tinnitus in 12 trials (Cochrane, Ginkgo for Tinnitus) | No |
| Zinc | No evidence for tinnitus in 3 trials (Cochrane, Zinc for Tinnitus) | Yes, amount not printed |
| Dong quai | Lab and animal work; no tinnitus trial found | Yes, amount not printed |
Is a natural ear health supplement safer?
No, natural does not mean safer. A plant extract can still affect the liver, the blood or your medicines.
Dong quai and ginger have been reported to raise bleeding risk in people taking warfarin (Milic et al., Warfarin-Herb Interactions), and ashwagandha has liver injury reports. We discuss these on the supplements and medicines guide. Zinc has a daily upper limit of 40 mg for adults, and too much can lower copper (NIH ODS, Zinc). Because Quietum Plus prints no amount of zinc, you cannot check it against that limit.
Keep taking prescribed medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before adding any ear health capsule.
The sales page itself says to consult your physician if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition.
What can an ear health supplement label support?
A label can support three things: what is inside, how much, and what to watch for. It cannot support a promise about hearing unless a trial backs it.

The Quietum Plus bottle front shows 60 capsules and three support lines: "Clear Mind", "Memory & Focus" and "Mood Support". It does not mention ears. The ear message appears only on the sales page. Read each ingredient to see what the page claims and what is not printed.

See packsWhat should you do before buying ear health supplements?
See a clinician about the ear first. Wax, infection, noise damage and medicines are common causes of ear symptoms, and a supplement will not fix them.
See a doctor soon for one-sided ringing, ringing that beats with your pulse or any dizziness. Sudden hearing loss in one ear is a same-day matter.
If you still want to try Quietum Plus, order through the official sales page. Packs are $79, $69 or $49 a bottle. Follow your bottle's label, and use the 60-day guarantee if it is not right for you.

01FAQ
Ear health questions
Can supplements protect my ears from noise damage?
We found no supplement shown to protect ears from noise damage. Ear plugs and lower volume are the proven steps. If you work around loud noise, ask an audiologist about protection and a baseline hearing test.
Is earwax a reason to take an ear health supplement?
No. Earwax buildup is a mechanical problem, and a clinician can check and clear it. A capsule will not change it. If your ears feel blocked or ring, book an exam before trying any product.
Does Quietum Plus contain ginkgo for ear health?
No. Ginkgo is not among the 18 ingredients on the sales page. The list includes zinc, ashwagandha, ginger and dong quai. Ginkgo itself showed little or no effect on tinnitus in trials, so its absence is neither good nor bad.
