Does Quietum Plus Work for Tinnitus? What Studies Show
Does Quietum Plus work for tinnitus? There is no evidence that it does. No trial has tested the capsules, and the 2026 guideline advises against supplements for persistent, bothersome tinnitus. The bottle front does not mention ringing at all. See a clinician first, especially if the ringing is sudden, one-sided or in rhythm with your pulse.

Does Quietum Plus work for tinnitus?
No study shows that Quietum Plus works for tinnitus. The capsules have not been tested, and its own bottle front mentions only mind, memory and mood support.
The hearing line appears on the sales page alone. The NIDCD says there is no proven supplement for tinnitus, and no drug approved by the FDA for it (NIDCD, Tinnitus). Two supplements have been checked in tinnitus trials.

What helps tinnitus according to the guidelines?
The guidelines favor a hearing exam, talk therapy and a hearing aid check. They do not favor supplements.
The 2026 update from the American Academy of Otolaryngology advises against supplements for persistent, bothersome tinnitus (AAO-HNSF Tinnitus Update 2026). The same guideline backs cognitive behavioral therapy and a hearing aid evaluation. An audiologist or an ear, nose and throat doctor leads this care.
- A hearing exam with an audiologist.
- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
- A hearing aid check if hearing is reduced.
- A review of your medicines with your prescriber.

When is ringing in the ears an emergency?
Ringing is an emergency when it comes with sudden hearing loss, a drooping face, weakness or severe dizziness. Sudden loss in one ear needs same-day care, since waiting beyond a few weeks lowers the chance of recovery (NIDCD, Sudden Deafness).
See a doctor soon if the ringing beats with your pulse, follows a head injury, or stays in one ear. The NHS lists similar signs (NHS, Tinnitus).
When ringing is a doctor question, not a supplement question
Sudden hearing loss in one ear (same day), ringing that beats with your pulse, ringing after a head injury, or ringing with dizziness, weakness or a drooping face. Call 911 for sudden weakness or a drooping face. Sources: NIDCD on sudden deafness (NIDCD, Sudden Deafness), the NHS (NHS, Tinnitus), Mayo Clinic (Mayo Clinic, Tinnitus) and the tinnitus guideline (AAO-HNSF Tinnitus Guideline 2014).
Some medicines can cause ringing. If you take one, ask your prescriber and never stop it on your own. Keep taking prescribed medicine.

01FAQ
Quietum Plus and tinnitus questions
Is Quietum Plus made for ringing in the ears?
The sales page says it was "Specially created to support a healthy hearing", but the bottle front does not mention hearing or ringing. It lists Clear Mind, Memory & Focus and Mood Support. No trial links the capsules to ringing relief.
Can zinc in Quietum Plus help tinnitus?
Trials do not support it. A Cochrane review of three zinc trials found no evidence of benefit for tinnitus. Zinc is listed on the Quietum Plus page, but its amount is not printed, so even a studied dose could not be matched.
Who should I see first about ringing in my ears?
See your doctor, an ear, nose and throat specialist or an audiologist. A hearing exam is the usual first step for lasting or one-sided ringing. Go the same day if you also have sudden hearing loss in one ear.
