Quietum Plus and Thyroid: Ashwagandha and Tyrosine Notes
Quietum Plus thyroid questions start with ashwagandha. Health agencies note thyroid effects with it and advise caution with thyroid disorders or thyroid hormone medicine. Quietum Plus also lists L-tyrosine and zinc. The bottle front prints no amounts, so ask your doctor before you take it if you have a thyroid condition.

Is Quietum Plus safe for thyroid problems?
Nobody can say that, and the sources we read lean toward caution. Ashwagandha, listed on the sixth tile, is the main reason.
The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements reports thyroid effects with ashwagandha: lower TSH and higher T3 and T4 in a small trial, plus case reports of thyrotoxicosis (NIH ODS, Ashwagandha). NCCIH does not recommend it for people with thyroid disorders (NCCIH, Ashwagandha).
Keep taking prescribed medicine as directed, and do not adjust a thyroid dose yourself.
| Ingredient | Note | Amount in the capsule |
|---|---|---|
| Ashwagandha | Thyroid effects reported; thyroid medicine interactions listed | Not printed |
| L-tyrosine | A building block the body uses to make thyroid hormone | Not printed |
| Piperine | Raised drug levels in a very small study | Not printed |
What do thyroid sources say about ashwagandha?
Ashwagandha sources list thyroid hormone medicines among possible interactions, along with diabetes, blood pressure and sedating drugs (NIH ODS, Ashwagandha). Safety is documented only for up to about three months, and long-term safety is unknown (NCCIH, Ashwagandha).
The same sources report liver injury cases (LiverTox, Ashwagandha). That is another reason a doctor should see the label before you begin.
These findings come from ashwagandha products, not from Quietum Plus. The amount in the capsule is not printed, so we cannot say if it is large or small. Read the ashwagandha and piperine page for the full profile.
The tile calls ashwagandha and piperine "Strong adaptogens". No source we found shows that helps ears or thyroid health.
Does L-tyrosine affect the thyroid?
L-tyrosine is an amino acid, and the thyroid uses it to make its hormones. That is a reason to ask, not proof of harm.
The tyrosine review we cite studied stress in healthy adults, not thyroid disease, and it found the evidence too thin for firm advice (Attipoe et al., Tyrosine Review). Whether the amount in Quietum Plus matters is unknown. See the tyrosine and arginine page.
The label also lists zinc and vitamin A, with amounts not printed. If you take thyroid medicine, ask your pharmacist about timing near minerals and other supplements.

See packsWhat if you have a thyroid condition and ringing in the ears?
Tell your doctor about both. Ringing has many causes, and a hearing exam comes first (AAO-HNSF Tinnitus Update 2026).
Ringing that beats with your pulse, sudden hearing loss in one ear, or ringing with dizziness or a drooping face needs prompt or emergency care (NHS, Tinnitus). The NIDCD says supplements advertised for tinnitus are not proven (NIDCD, Tinnitus).
If your doctor is comfortable after seeing the list, Quietum Plus comes in 60-capsule bottles at $79, $69 or $49 a bottle, with a 60-day money-back guarantee. Follow your bottle's label.

01FAQ
Quietum Plus and thyroid questions
Can ashwagandha change thyroid tests?
It may. A small trial reported lower TSH and higher T3 and T4 with ashwagandha, and some case reports describe thyrotoxicosis. These are not Quietum Plus results, but they explain why clinicians want to know before you start one.
Is Quietum Plus okay with levothyroxine?
We cannot say. Ashwagandha sources list thyroid hormone medicines as a possible interaction, and the capsule amounts are not printed. Ask your doctor or pharmacist, and keep your usual dose and timing until they advise.
Does Quietum Plus contain iodine?
No iodine is listed among the 18 named ingredients. The list has vitamin A, an unspecified vitamin B, zinc, L-tyrosine and herbs. With no Supplement Facts panel in our images, check your bottle for other ingredients.
